Altun Ha Mayan Ruins and Baboon Sanctuary

This tour is designed to last approximately 5.5 hours. It includes a 50 minutes drive through the countryside to the Mayan Ruins of Altun Ha. As we drive through the countryside, we will be doing presentation on Belize History, Ethnic Groups Of Belize, and Pointing out sites of interest. Upon our arrival at Altun Ha Ruins we will have a short restroom break. After the break we will start the tour of Altun Ha Mayan Ruins. The tour of the ruins last approximately an hour. As we go through the site, we will be doing presentation on Medicinal Plants, Indian History, and Altun Ha History.

After the tour of Altun Ha Mayan ruins we do a slow drive to The Baboon Sanctuary. The tour of the Sanctuary includes a short hike through the rain forest in search of Howler Monkeys in their natural Habitat. You will get an up close view of the Howler Monkeys. You may also hear them howl.

After the tour of the Sanctuary, We drive back to Belize City. When we arrive in Belize City you will be offered a complimentary tour of Belize City and you will get the chance to see some of our Historical Sites. You can also stop to shop, or have lunch if you like.

Altun Ha Mayan Ruins, Baboon Sanctuary, and Zip Line

Belize Zip Line Canopy Tour, Baboon Sanctuary, and Altun Ha Ruins – The combination of Belize Baboon Sanctuary, Altun Ha Mayan Ruins, and Belize Zip Line Canopy Tours is a full day tour. It includes a 50 minute drive from Belize Zip to the zip line sight. As we drive to the zip line sight we will be narrating the history of Belize to You. We also will be pointing out sights of interest as we go by.

 

When we arrive at the zip line sight we will have a short rest room break. After the break you will be geared up and there after start the zip line tour. The zip line part of the tour last approximately 40 minutes.

After the zip line tour we will an hour to the Baboon Sanctuary. When we arrive at the Sanctuary you will be introduced to a tour guide that specializes in The Sanctuary. The tour of the sanctuary last approximately an hour. You will be hiking in the rain forest in search of howler monkeys in their natural habitat.

 

After the tour of the sanctuary, we will drive 45 minutes to Altun Ha Mayan Ruins. When you arrive at the ruins we will have a short restroom break. After the restroom break we will begin the tour of the ruins. The tour of the ruins last approximately 40 minutes. Whilst doing the tour of the ruins, we will do presentations on Indian History, Altun Ha History, and Present Day Mayan History.

Belize Cave Tubing, Zip Line, and Altun Ha Mayan Ruins

This tour is designed to last approximately 6.5 hour. It includes a 50 minute drive from Belize City to the Mayan Ruins of Altun Ha. When we arrive at Altun Ha we will have a short restroom break. After the break we will start the tour of the Mayan Ruins of Altun Ha. The tour of Altun Ha Mayan Ruins last approximately an hour. Whilst doing the tour of Mayan Ruins of Altun Ha we will do presentations in Indian History, Medicinal Plants, and Altun Ha Mayan Ruins.

 

After the tour Of Mayan ruins of Altun Ha we will drive an hour to the zip line site. Upon your arrival you will be assisted with your gears for the zip line canopy tour. You will be zipping through the canopy of Belize’s rain forest for approximately an hour. 

 

After the zip line canopy Tour we will drive approximately three minute to where we start the cave tubing tour. You will be issued with head lamps, inner tubes, and a life vest. We will then start a 20 minute hike through the rain forest. As we hike we will be pointing some trees of interest. We will also do presentations on Belize Cave Systems and Use Of The Cave To The Maya.

 

When we arrive at the entrance of the cave you will be instructed about what to and not do. We will be tubing through the cave systems for approximate 40 minutes depending on the current of the river. After the cave tubing tour we will have rice and beans with chicken for lunch. After lunch we head back to Belize City.

Altun Ha Mayan Ruins and Zip Line

Altun Ha and Zip Line Canopy Tour

This tour is designed to last approximate 5.5 hours. It includes a 50 minutes drive to the zip line canopy site. Upon our arrival we will have a short restroom break. After the break you will be assisted with your gears for the zip line canopy tour.

 

After you have been geared up for the zip line canopy tour we will start a 5 minutes hike to the first platform of the zip line. You will be zipping through the rainforest of Belize for approximately an hour.

 

After the zip line canopy tour we will have a short restroom break again. We will then drive an hour to the Mayan Ruins Of Altun Ha. Upon our arrival at the Mayan Ruins Of Altun Ha we will have a short restroom break. After the break we will start the tour of the Mayan Ruins Of Altun Ha. The tour of Altun Ha last approximately an hour. Whilst doing the tour of Altun Ha we will do presentations in Medicinal Plants, Indian History, and Altun Ha History.
