This tour is a combination of the RAIN FOREST A.T.V. and ZIP LINE CANOPY TOUR. This is a very hype tour. You don't need a lot of energy for this adventure tour. All you need to do is book in advance, We don't offer this tour every day of the week. There are specific days when we do this adventure tour. 

 

On arrival at Peccary Park your experienced guides will brief you on safety procedures for ATV handling and issue protective gear and helmets.  It is now time to explore the jungles of Belize on trails laid out over 100 years ago by loggers in search of precious Mahogany trees.  The trails are a good mix of various challenging terrains leading to the stop of the day – the Maya Caves.  Here you explore caves once used by the Maya thousands of years ago. 

To the Maya, caves were considered portals to the underworld.  These sacred places were used for important ceremonies conducted to appease the gods of the underworld.  As you explore the cave, be on the look out for ancient ceramic pots forgotten for centuries.  Who knows, you may be the one to spot an undiscovered find!

 After this stop, it is time to zip line through the canopy of the rain forest. From the A.T.V . we drive 20 minutes to the zip line site. The zip line part of this tour last approximately 45min. to an hour.

Altun Ha Mayan Ruins, Baboon Sanctuary, and Zip Line

Belize Zip Line Canopy Tour, Baboon Sanctuary, and Altun Ha Ruins – The combination of Belize Baboon Sanctuary, Altun Ha Mayan Ruins, and Belize Zip Line Canopy Tours is a full day tour. It includes a 50 minute drive from Belize Zip to the zip line sight. As we drive to the zip line sight we will be narrating the history of Belize to You. We also will be pointing out sights of interest as we go by.

 

When we arrive at the zip line sight we will have a short rest room break. After the break you will be geared up and there after start the zip line tour. The zip line part of the tour last approximately 40 minutes.

After the zip line tour we will an hour to the Baboon Sanctuary. When we arrive at the Sanctuary you will be introduced to a tour guide that specializes in The Sanctuary. The tour of the sanctuary last approximately an hour. You will be hiking in the rain forest in search of howler monkeys in their natural habitat.

 

After the tour of the sanctuary, we will drive 45 minutes to Altun Ha Mayan Ruins. When you arrive at the ruins we will have a short restroom break. After the restroom break we will begin the tour of the ruins. The tour of the ruins last approximately 40 minutes. Whilst doing the tour of the ruins, we will do presentations on Indian History, Altun Ha History, and Present Day Mayan History.

Belize Cave Tubing, Zip Line, and Altun Ha Mayan Ruins

This tour is designed to last approximately 6.5 hour. It includes a 50 minute drive from Belize City to the Mayan Ruins of Altun Ha. When we arrive at Altun Ha we will have a short restroom break. After the break we will start the tour of the Mayan Ruins of Altun Ha. The tour of Altun Ha Mayan Ruins last approximately an hour. Whilst doing the tour of Mayan Ruins of Altun Ha we will do presentations in Indian History, Medicinal Plants, and Altun Ha Mayan Ruins.

 

After the tour Of Mayan ruins of Altun Ha we will drive an hour to the zip line site. Upon your arrival you will be assisted with your gears for the zip line canopy tour. You will be zipping through the canopy of Belize’s rain forest for approximately an hour. 

 

After the zip line canopy Tour we will drive approximately three minute to where we start the cave tubing tour. You will be issued with head lamps, inner tubes, and a life vest. We will then start a 20 minute hike through the rain forest. As we hike we will be pointing some trees of interest. We will also do presentations on Belize Cave Systems and Use Of The Cave To The Maya.

 

When we arrive at the entrance of the cave you will be instructed about what to and not do. We will be tubing through the cave systems for approximate 40 minutes depending on the current of the river. After the cave tubing tour we will have rice and beans with chicken for lunch. After lunch we head back to Belize City.
